Volunteer role description

As an Office Admin volunteer, you will provide valuable, ongoing support to the team based at our Bolton office.

Specific responsibilities 
  • Answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries and transferring calls 
  • Sending out information letters and booklets to clients by post
  • Sending out regular customer satisfaction survey letters 
  • Making calls to clients to confirm appointments
  • Scanning and uploading forms to Charitylog, our CRM system
  • Supporting the team with other occasional admin tasks
We're looking for someone who...
  • Has good telephone manner
  • Has good administrative skills; some experience of recording data would be beneficial, however, training on Charitylog will be provided
  • Has good communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Has a good standard of literacy and numeracy 
  • Can work under own initiative and know when to seek help and support
  • Is reliable
  • Has an awareness of confidentiality and able to agree to follow our confidentiality policies
  • Can work within a team of other volunteers and staff
Time requirements

1-4pm Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (flexibility around which day or option to do 2-3 days)
