Couple in the parkWe rely on donations to continue our work with older people in Camden

Take a look at the ways that you could help us to raise money to fund vital Age UK Camden services.

Set up a monthly direct debit or make a one off donation
It’s quick and easy to make a donation through Virgin Giving. You can also send a cheque to us in the post or set up a standing order (please email us and we will let you know how to do this).

Take part in a sponsored activity
You could do a 10k race, sky dive or half marathon, or ask your friends, family and work colleagues to pay you to grow a beard or cut your hair.

Hold your own fundraising event or activity
Fundraisers come in all shapes and sizes. You could organise a coffee morning with a hot drink and a slice of homemade cake for £5. Or a special dog walk where owners and their pooches pay £10 for a designated route and end up somewhere for tea and sandwiches. You could organise a children’s party, where invitees pay £5, or a dinner party, posh picnic or kitchen disco. The important thing is to plan something you’d enjoy doing, to put the fun into fundraising!

If event organising is not your thing, you could start a swear box at home or in the office or collect 20 pence pieces in a bottle.

Leave a legacy to age UK Camden
One of the best ways of safeguarding the future of older people in Camden is by remembering us in your will. Find out more about legacies.

Donate while you shop
Do your online shopping through Buy2Help and we'll get 10-15% of the sale.

If you’re a business
A group activity is a great way to boost staff morale and raise money for us. Perhaps you could organise a quiz night, snooker or darts match with your staff and/or customers. Maybe you could give a small percentage of the sale of a particular product or service for one month to us, or ask customers if they would add £1 to their bill with that £1 going to Age UK Camden. We can give you collection boxes and publicise your event in our newsletter and on our social media channels. We’ll help you every way we can.

A straightforward way to help us is to give financial support for events we are organising as that means more of the proceeds raised goes to the people we help. In return we can name you as a sponsor and put your name on the marketing material and across our social media channels. You can feature your contribution on your social media channels, too.
