Telefriends is here to support you or a loved one to stay connected and offer a friendly listening ear to anyone who just needs a chat.

About the service

It can be difficult in later life, sometimes family members move away, we lose contact with old friends or a bereavement can leave us by ourselves. If you would like some company and conversation, our Telefriends service can help.

We will pair you with one of our trained volunteers who will call you once a week for a friendly chat.

Both our older people and volunteers find it a really enjoyable experience, and lots of them have developed strong friendships.

Who is the service for

Telefriends is for anyone aged 55+, living in Camden, feeling isolated and would like some company and conversation.

Telefriends is currently closed for referrals.
