Thornton Heath Festival

Age UK Croydon joined Thornton Heath Festival, to share information on our activities and services with the local community - especially those based at our Brigstock Road activities hub. Staff and volunteers spoke to members of the public about exercise classes and health hubs, choir sessions, information and advice drop-ins, and our Memory Tree Cafe. Interest ranged from those who were enquiring for themselves, or on behalf of friends, family and neighbours, and we also took details from people wishing to volunteer their time and skills.
We also enjoyed the street food, stalls, music, and - of course - the parade!

Our team of volunteers also take part in one-off events and activities when they arise, to promote out services and support older people of Croydon - join now and support Age UK Croydon in the community
