Poetry Writing Workshop

We're excited to announce our participation in the 'Out of Silence' poetry project, led by the esteemed Croydon Poet Laureate, Shaniqua Benjamin.

Join our three free poetry workshops led by a professional poet starting in March. We have limited spaces available, so please register your interest promptly to secure your spot.

The workshops will take place over three consecutive Mondays in March, from 3 to 4 pm at Scratchley Hall, located at Age UK Croydon, 81 Brigstock Road, CR7 7JH.

The dates for the workshops are as follows:
- Monday 4th March
- Monday 11th March
- Monday 18th March

Please check your availability before signing up as you will be expected to be available for all three workshops. All participants will be invited to a final poetry showcase where their poetry will be presented and published alongside other groups that have participated.

No prior experience in poetry is necessary - everyone is welcome! These workshops offer a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow local residents, cultivate a new skill, and unleash your creativity.

As with all activities, complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided.
