Coach Club Important Information
Coach Club is run by Age Cymru West Glamorgan. We offer relaxed, joyful days out for people aged 50+ — with a warm welcome guaranteed every time.
This page gives you the key information you’d usually see online, so you can choose a trip with confidence and enjoy a brilliant day out with us.
A Warm Welcome – Every Trip, Every Time
When you join Coach Club, you’re welcomed by friendly, trained staff and volunteers who are simply there to keep the day running smoothly.
There’s no pressure — you’re always welcomed just as you are, whether you’re coming on your own or with friends.
Who Can Come?
Coach Club is open to anyone aged 50+ living in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot or Bridgend.
If you need a bit of help while you’re out and about, you’re welcome to bring a support companion aged 18+ (they’ll need a ticket too).
Travel & Pickups
When you book, we’ll note your preferred pickup area.
Your final pickup point and time will be confirmed at least 7 days before the trip.
Our usual pickup points include:
• Swansea – Wellington Street
• Neath – Neath Train Station
• Port Talbot – Parkway Train Station
• Porthcawl – Outside the Beachcomber Restaurant
• Bridgend – McArthurGlen Coach Bay
Accessibility Notes
We want every day out to feel safe, relaxed and enjoyable.
- The coach has steps, so passengers must be able to board independently.
- Trips are not suitable for wheelchair users.
- Onboard toilets (if available) are accessed via steep steps.
- Longer trips include comfort stops.
- You’re free to walk and explore at your own pace — there’s no pressure.
If you’re unsure whether a trip is right for you, just ring us for a chat.
What We’ll Ask for When You Book
For safety and peace of mind, we’ll need:
• Your name and address
• Your contact number
• An emergency contact (not travelling with you)
If travelling with friends, book together so we can seat you on the same coach.
About Coach Club
Coach Club is made possible through ticket sales, which we keep as fair as possible so our trips stay accessible.
If a trip makes a small surplus, it helps fund Age Cymru West Glamorgan’s wider work — including dementia support, income maximisation, accredited Information & Advice, digital help, and community outreach.
Every trip helps people age well and enjoy life.
