World Tai Chi Day 2025
April 26th 2025 is World Tai Chi Day.
Across the World people will be practicing Tai Chi at 10am starting in New Zealand following the time zones finishing in Hawaii. This means we will have a full 24 hours of the wonderful practice of Tai Chi.
Sue Wain one of the Live Stronger for Longer Community class instructors will be on Riddings Park at 9.45am ready to perform the 16 Form, the Essential Form and The Traditional Form. Bring along any friends that may fancy joining in, let's hope for a sunny day

Long Eaton Tai Chi will also be holding a free event at Petersham Community Hall in Long Eaton. 10am to 12pm classes are part of the Live Stronger for Longer project too.
In honour of World Tai Chi Day, two of our other community classes, Dave Ashbey and Lisa Dengate have put together a couple of YouTube videos demonstrating what they do, see videos below.
