Age UK Doncaster is the leading local charity working with and for older people in Doncaster to make the most of later life. Our mission is to promote the wellbeing of all older people and to help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. With a new Chief Executive and a growing ambition, this is an exciting time to become part of this charity.
We are seeking new trustees, including a treasurer, to join our small but committed board in order to help us achieve the most positive outcomes for the older people of Doncaster.
Previous experience as a trustee is desirable and we are especially interested in hearing from people with financial or legal experience. Candidates with substantial experience of volunteering are also of particular interest. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and be expected to undertake relevant training.

We have vacancies for Cleaners to carry out domestic cleaning tasks in the homes of older people in the Cantley, Bessacarr, Intake, Wheatley and Wheatley Hills areas. Own transport desirable. Various working patterns available - will be discussed at interview.

Homecare Support Worker
Join our team as a Homecare Support Worker and you will be part of a skilled and professional team dedicated to promoting individual's independence, dignity and choice. As a Homecare Support Worker you will be primarily supporting service users within their own homes with various aspects of their daily live. Support can range from domestic tasks, shopping and social activities to personal care, continence management and assistance with medication.

No experience is necessary as we offer a thorough induction course which includes shadowing with an experienced Homecare Support Worker. You will also be supported to gain your RQF level 2 / 3 in Health and Social Care which is a nationally recognised qualification.
We have full and part time hours available, offering regular working patterns and alternate weekend working.
We offer competitive rates of pay + paid travel time + pension + all other Age UK Doncaster benefits.
