The focus of our Ageing Well activities is on making social links and activities that promote mental and physical wellbeing, in line with the five ways to well-being principles. ‘Connect, Be Active, Keep Learning, Give, Take Notice’.

Our friendly and dedicated team work in partnership with other local experts and partners to offer a wide range of activities. We provide activities such as:

• Computer classes
• Shared reading
• Sessions for people living with dementia
• Reminiscence
• Gardening
• Cooking and baking
• Dance on sessions
• Memory therapy (MCST)
• Arts and crafts
• Karaoke

We offer a variety of sessions throughout the week. Thursdays are dedicated to people living with dementia.

Monday sessions:

Campsall Village Hall, Sutton Road, DN6 9AN
Walk & Talk (Free) - 9:30 to 10:15am
Coffee Morning (Suggested donation of 50p per drink) - 10:00 to 11:30am

Attendees can either attend the walk, pop down for a coffee, or do both if they wish.

Wednesday sessions:

The Silver Link Centre, Bennetthorpe, DN2 6AA
Walk & Talk (Free) - 9:30 to 10:15am
Coffee Morning (Suggested donation of 50p per drink) - 10:00 to 11:30am

Bawtry New Hall, Station Rd, DN10 6PU (Returning on April 12th)
Walk & Talk (for all abilities) - 1:00pm
Coffee Afternoon with Bingo - 1:30 to 3:00pm

Suggested donation of 50p for a cup of coffee and 20p for a game of bingo

Attendees can either attend the walk, pop down for a coffee and a game of bingo, or do both if they wish.

Thursday Sessions:

Friends Supported - A fully supported social session with lunch for people living with dementia (£50pp) - 10:00am to 2:00pm

This session includes breakfast, a 2-course light lunch, and a variety of activities.

Friday Sessions:

The Silver Link Centre, Bennetthorpe, DN2 6AA
Friends Together - A fully supported social session with lunch for older adults (£40pp) - 10:00am to 2:00pm

This session includes breakfast, a 2-course light lunch, and a variety of activities.
