Volunteering for Age UK East Grinstead & District

We are currently looking for Volunteer Drivers to help deliver our Rainbow Hot Meals from Monday to Friday.  If you think you can help us please email community@ageukeastgrinstead.org.uk

Apart from Volunteer Drivers, Age UK East Grinstead & District is not currently in need of additional volunteers. This is largely due to the recent re-deployment of our existing volunteers from services that are currently unable to operate.  While we are not immediately able to offer you a volunteering opportunity, we’re constantly developing and expanding our services to meet the evolving needs of older people in the area. This means we may be in need of additional volunteers in the weeks ahead. Please do check back for any new opportunities as they arise, and thank you so much for thinking of us.

In the meantime, we would like to encourage you to start helping older people who may be in need and not connected to our organisation. Please consider taking part in neighbourly volunteering to help us reach these individuals.

To do this, you can view a simple training video on the Age UK website and then access a printable postcard to offer assistance to older neighbours and to provide them some helpful Age UK information.
