Dementia Respite Services
At Age UK East Grinstead, we offer a safe, supportive space for individuals living with early to mid-stage dementia, where meaningful and stimulating activities are thoughtfully tailored to each person’s needs.

Dementia Action Week
Dementia Action Week runs from the 18th and 24th May 2026. This important campaign is led by Alzheimers Society with the aim to raising awareness about dementia challenging stigma and fostering a dementia-friendly society where those living with dementia can live well and feel understood and supported.
At Age UK East Grinstead and District, we are supporting this campaign in collaboration with town council by inviting you to drop into us at the Glen Vue Centre, Railway Approach, East Grinstead RH19 1BS on the Thursday 21st May between 10 am and 12 midday for a cuppa and piece of cake.
Here you will get the opportunity to meet some of our team and learn about the activities and support offered at Glen Vue for people living with dementia and those who care for them, alongside useful advice and signposting to further services.
