JOB TITLE: Commercial Manager

 

Based: East Sussex with a focus on Hastings

Salary: £42k - £47k pro rata per annum based upon experience

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday with the possibility of weekend and bank holiday working as required

Terms: 6 Months fixed term contract

Age UK East Sussex are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to support the organisation over six months to provide cover for our Directors’ leave.

 

You must be hands on and be able to hit the ground running by taking over the reins of our successful commercial, income generation and social enterprise operations.

 

This will include overseeing the work of our Retail Area Manager and their teams, running our portfolio of traditional charity shops, donation centres and furniture collection / house clearance businesses.

 

Supporting our General Manager for Social Enterprise to maximise income and customer experience across our Leisure and Wellbeing centre in Hastings and our Business Services Centre in Eastbourne

You will be there to support and empower them to achieve their best. Working collaboratively, you will monitor monthly management accounts, work together on development plans, ensure operational standards and quality are always met and ultimately that budgets and quality outcomes are achieved.

 

This role reports directly to the Directorate and Chief Executive.
