Information & Advice Advisor

 

We are looking for a part-time Information & Advice Advisor to be based in Hastings.

 

  • Location: I&A Office, Isabel Blackman Centre, Hastings, with some home working
  • Salary: £15 per hour
  • Hours: 15 hrs per week.

Are you:

  • An experienced advisor/caseworker within the advice sector
  • Knowledgeable and understanding of the benefits and welfare system and the issues that can impact on the health and wellbeing of older people
  • A natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, confident in developing partnerships both internally and externally.

Do you have:

  • Experience in delivering great customer service by telephone, email and in a face to face environment
  • Experience of maintaining a caseload within service standards
  • The ability to balance the needs of multiple projects at one time and proritise accordingly
  • Experience using MS Office and CRM systems, preferably Charity Log
  • Experience of working with volunteers.

 

We are seeking a Part Time Information and Advice Advisor to join our busy and dedicated Information & Advice team based at the Isabel Blackman Centre in Hastings. The role will involve assessing enquiries received on a daily basis, providing relevant information and specialist advice whilst managing your own caseload in support of older people, their relatives and carers.

You will be required to maintain up to date files and records in line with the Quality Advice Standard using the Charity CRM system and assist the I&A Manager in the further development of the service.
