JOB TITLE:            Bank Van and Warehouse Assistant

Based:   Newhaven Furniture Warehouse

Salary:  £10.46 March 2024, increases to £11.44 from 1st April 2024

Hours:  Bank Role - as and when required to cover absence and                                annual leave across our Newhaven Warehouse

  • Proven history in working in a successful team and Charity Retail Experience.

Age UK East Sussex is looking for a Bank Van and Warehouse Assistant for our successful Newhaven Furniture Warehouse and Donation Centre. You will be an important member of our Retail Operation, supporting our Van Team where required.

You will need to have experience of Customer service, be well organised and will have a background in manual handling. Experience of Charity Retail and working with Volunteers would be desirable however not essential.

We will provide you with all the training you need and a great team to work with. All job applicants will be required to provide at least 2 referees (one must be your most recent employer) and undertake an enhanced DBS Disclosure. This process forms part of our recruitment policy.
