Location: Eastbourne (Langney Road)
Responsible to: Retail Area Manager
Purpose: Manage the Age UK East Sussex Eastbourne Langney Road Shop to achieve sale and profit targets to support the local work of the charity. The Shop operates on a 7-day basis and working hours include Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis.
Hours: 35 hours, 5 days out of 7, to include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Salary: £22,877.40 p/a
Holiday: 25 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

We are thrilled to be opening a brand-new Charity Shop on Langney Road Eastbourne – and we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Shop Manager to lead the way from day one!
This is a unique opportunity to shape something from the ground up, bring your ideas to life and build a vibrant team of staff and volunteers. You will be at the heart of launching a new, successful shop in Eastbourne town centre that supports our mission, drives sales, and becomes a valued part of the local community.
You will need to be well organised with great communication skills to lead your instore team to maximise sales and profit and meet your stores targets, and you will have a strong retail background, experience of working in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering high levels of customer service. You are also creative and resourceful, and will use this to generate customer, donor and volunteer loyalty, ensuring the long term success and growth of this new shop.
