A twice-weekly day care service offering structured activities,

meals, and socialisation for older people and those living with dementia.

“We enable people to come together in a safe environment with support aimed at helping them continue to live independently, improve their quality of life, meet and socialise with others, and provide respite for family members and carers.”

Friday, 10:30am-12:30pm
 
Our memory café is a friendly, welcoming space where people living with memory loss or dementia and their families or carers, everyone can come together to relax, connect, and take part in enjoyable activities.

The Ness Care Group

The Ness Care Group provides specialist day support for people living with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment and dementia.
Our services include:
Expert led Cognitive Stimulation Therapy courses and sessions across East Devon
Fun & engaging dementia day care and respite at The Ness Hubs,
Carer support groups.
Expert dementia training and coaching for professionals, carers and family carers.
All The Ness work is shaped by the latest dementia research and a focus on measurable treatment to maintain health.

Admiral Nurses visiting the Nationwide Building Society Exeter

The Nationwide Building Society are hosting Admiral Nurse Clinics, confidential appointments with speacial dementia nurses. These clinics provide expert support for individuals affercted by dementia, including advise on diagnosis, emotional support, and practical care strategies. Appointments last 45 minutes and can be booked online or by contacting the Dementia UK Helpline

The Filo Project

The Filo Project offers small group day care for people with early to moderate dementia and other age-related challenges, including isolation. A Filo day takes place in a host's home, providing a warm and welcoming space where lasting friendships are made. Home-cooked lunch and transport are provided, enabling people in rural areas to join. Support is offered across Devon. Carers can benefit from up to 6 hours of respite during each Filo day, and we also offer our complementary Filo Family Support Service to provide additional guidance and support for families and carers.

RDUH Exeter Dementia Cafe

Held at the TLC cafe every First and Third Thursday of the month. There is a dementis team available for relatives for support and information. Please pop allong and meet them
