Silverton Memory Café

Here’s what the Memory Café say in their own words:

"Silverton Memory Cafe is an informal, social space where anyone can go for advice and support about living with the challenges of memory loss. A well established volunteer led group, Silverton Memory Cafe currently supports many local people living with the early stages of dementia. Our Memory Cafe was set up in June 2016 and provides information enabling individuals to connect with local health professionals in a neutral setting. On occasion, members of the Health Care Team may give a talk or advise on a particular aspect of memory loss."

The café is held from 2.00-4.00PM every Thursday at the Millenium Hall in Silverton Community Hall.

The Ness Care Group provides specialist, clinically led support for people experiencing memory changes and dementia, with a focus on early and middle stages.
Support includes small group Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, which is recommended by the NHS, alongside advice, coaching and guidance for individuals and families, professional training, and online support across Devon and beyond.
