Riders of all levels are invited to take part in the annual KM Big Bike Ride in Kent to support Age UK Herne Bay and Whitstable. The 50 or 100 kilometre charity ride is being staged by the KM Charity Team and will be held on Sunday 26th April 2020 starting from Betteshanger Country Park, Deal, Kent. Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team urged people to take the challenge to support Age UK Herne Bay and Whitstable “This is a thrilling way to raise money for this excellent cause. The ride will give superb views of our beautiful coastline and countryside as an added perk for participants,” he said. The two routes of 50 and 100 kilometres have been designed by sportive rider and organiser Keith Spencer of Herberts Cycles to be varied and interesting, flat with some occasional hills. The 50km ride will take you through some beautiful Kent countryside and the 100km ride will take you along the coast, through beautiful Kent villages and historical mining communities, a bit of everything with minimal navigation.

Seventy per cent of sponsorship money raised goes to Age UK Herne Bay and Whitstable and 30 per cent will go to the children’s road safety initiatives carried out by the KM Charity Team.
