Celebrating the volunteers who make so much possible this Volunteers’ Week

This Volunteers’ Week, Age UK Lincolnshire is saying a heartfelt thank you to the more than 200 volunteers who give their time, skills and kindness to support people across our county.

Every day, our volunteers make a difference in communities across Lincolnshire. Whether supporting activities and groups, offering companionship, helping in our shops, welcoming customers, supporting events or sharing specialist skills and experience, their contribution helps us reach and support thousands of people every month.

Volunteers are at the heart of what we do and their generosity creates moments of connection and support that have a lasting impact for our customers.

Throughout Volunteers’ Week, we’ll be celebrating our volunteers with a series of small thank you events taking place across Lincolnshire, giving us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the people who give so much to others. Celebrations will also include a special experience for some of our long-serving volunteers, who will attend a private Red Arrows display at RAF Waddington in recognition of their dedication and contribution over many years.

To continue our thanks, we’re also looking forward to welcoming all of our volunteers to a special celebration event. More than 200 volunteers will be invited to enjoy a complimentary three-course lunch, live entertainment, awards and more as a way of recognising the incredible difference they make to Age UK Lincolnshire and the communities we support.
