Wine Night: a corker of a success!

On the 14th of March 2024, the beautiful Reserve Lounge at Home Nightclub transformed into a hub of charitable magic and expert wine-tasting.
Attendees arrived to find their tables adorned with cheese, bread and grape platters, bowls of crisps, twinkling candles, and complementary Age UK LSL merchandise.
Ben Straw of Lincoln Wine School kicked the night off with a delicious white sparkling Brut Modena, and worked his way down the colour spectrum of wine, finishing on a deep red Amalaya Malbec.
He was a fountain of knowledge, sharing interesting facts, explaining the flavours, and answering questions about each of the eight wines.
The event was a corker of a success, with £600 raised for Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire - vital funding that will help us reach more local older people who need our support.
A big thank you to all who attended, Home Lincoln for the beautiful space, and to Ben Straw of Lincoln Wine School for all the wine wisdom.
