Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire is an independent local charity – a brand partner of Age UK – supporting more than 5,000 people every week. Following increased demand for our services, we're looking for additional deep cleaners to join the Support Services team. 

Working across Lincolnshire 

Monday to Friday

08:30 to 16:00

Zero-hour contract

£11.71 per hour

Driving licence is essential

No personal care involved

About the role

As part of the Support Services team, you will provide a deep clean service for elderly clients who suffer with a hoarding disorder or might be physically fit for discharge from hospital but their properties require a thorough clean before they can return home. 

There will be opportunities to support clients with light clean tasks, enabling them to maintain their independence in their own home. We have clients across the county and so a willingness to travel is essential - you will be paid mileage. 

 

About you

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a full driving licence and be confident in their ability to transport equipment and team members
  • Have experience of undertaking domestic tasks
  • Understand the importance of and commitment to confidentiality
  • Be willing to undertake training in relation to the role
  • Understand and appreciate the needs of those living with mental health conditions
  • Understand and appreciate the needs of a person at risk
  • Have good communication skills

What is a zero hours contract?

A zero hours contract means you have no set working hours or times. We cannot guarantee you a set number of hours per week, however, we will aim to build up your hours over time. We will offer holiday and sickness cover to top up your hours where we can.
