Age UK London and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) are hosting a joint conference to ensure older Londoners can access legal advice.

This conference will cover access to legal advice for older Londoners and will:

• Be aimed at older people's organisations and older individuals interested in circulating the information.

• Increase understanding of the regulation of solicitors and the role of the SRA

• Provide information on recent changes that have taken place.

• Offer the opportunity to feed into the SRA’s future strategy to make sure your views are taken into account

• Highlight support available to help people find and choose the legal support they need

The Solicitors Regulation Authority set the ethical and professional standards that are expected from solicitors, and from law firms as well as the people that work in those firms.

Age UK London is the London-wide charity that campaigns for an Age-friendly London.
