About the Sunday Supervisor role
As our Sunday Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the shop runs smoothly while generating vital income to support our services for older people.
Working closely with the Shop Manager, you'll help deliver an outstanding customer experience while leading our fantastic team of volunteers.
Your responsibilities will include:

To assist the manager, generate income from the charity shop for the benefit of older people in the city of Manchester.

To be responsible for the management of a charity shop in the absence of the Shop Manager, including the supervision of volunteers, the management and pricing of the stock, and the taking of cash from sales.

To ensure that the Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety policies of Age UK Manchester, as they apply to the shop situation, are adhered to.

To work with other members of the team to improve the effectiveness of Age UK
Manchester, providing relief cover for other members of the team.
Who we're looking for
This role is ideal for someone with previous retail or charity shop experience who enjoys taking ownership and leading by example.
You'll be someone who:

- Has a good eye for presentation and merchandising.
- Is organised, reliable and confident handling cash.
- Can motivate volunteers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
