Gordon's Story

Published on 10 December 2018 11:07 AM

Did you know that there are estimated to be 38,000 lonely older people in Norfolk?

At Age UK Norfolk, we believe no one should have no one to turn to. By donating this Christmas and supporting our Telephone Befriending service, we can help ensure people like Gordon won't be lonely this Christmas. It might just be the best gift you can give.

Gordon is one of our Telephone Befriending members in Norfolk. Watch his story today to find out what loneliness means to him and how our Telephone Befriending service has helped:

What is Telephone Befriending?

Our Telephone Befriending service offers people aged 60 and over companionship by phone with one of our local volunteers or Age UK Norfolk Befriending Co-ordinators. Find out more on our dedicated Telephone Befriending Page.
