πThe 1st of October was International Day of Older Persons, and the release of Ramblings. A poetry book by Helen Aitchison, an Age UK North Tyneside Trustee π It is an amazing read full of life and something for everyone to enjoy. πWe are also very excited to announce that we are proudly part of the Peggi App testing. Peggi allows older, isolated, or vulnerable people to enjoy the benefits and community of social media without the complexity of privacy or mainstream social media. Read more about Peggi here.
πAge UK has released the Offline and Overlooked Campaign as well as Keep Warm in Winter Campaign. With these, Age UK North Tyneside is working towards reducing online signposting for older people as the default as well as informing our community how they can stay warm and well during the winter months.
