Volunteers Week 2019
Volunteers at Age UK Northumberland were thanked with a week's worth of events taking place across the county between 1-7 June to mark Volunteers’ Week.
Volunteers are central to the work of Age UK Northumberland and they are a valuable presence in many of the Northumberland communities, making a difference at our Lunch Clubs, Health Classes, Day Centres, our social groups an in our Information and Advice and Advocay teams.
Hundreds of events took place across the country to mark Volunteers' Week. The annual campaign, which was established in 1984, recognises the contribution volunteers make to our communities every day.
