Bereavement support groups

If you are aged 60+, have been bereaved and would value the opportunity to meet with others who understand, our groups offer the chance for you to get together at regular walks, pub lunches and other social activities. They are places where you can be yourself and feel supported as you explore what life without your loved one will mean for you.

Is payment or booking required?

There is no cost to attend our bereavement groups but booking is essential. Please contact our Community Team to book.

When and where?

Cherwell

  • Banbury, first and fourth Monday of the month
  • Bicester, third Friday of the month

West Oxfordshire

  • Carterton, second Wednesday of the month
  • Witney, third Thursday of the month

 

Oxford City and surrounds

  • Headington, third Monday of the month

 

South Oxfordshire

  • Didcot

Vale of White Horse

  • Abingdon, once a month on a Monday
  • Grove, first Monday of the month
