  • Housekeeper

    Join our Housekeeping team. Our great housekeeping service helps our clients with a range of tasks to help ease struggles and improve quality of life. We are looking for friendly and empathetic individuals to join us on a casual contract basis as cleaners /housekeepers.

  • Handyperson / Handyman

    Join our Handyperson team. We are looking for skilled and capable individuals who will ideally come from a maintenance / handyperson background to join us on a casual hours contract basis. 

    Our useful handyperson service helps clients with a range of tasks including fitting key safes / grab rails; plumbing; moving furniture; putting up shelves; fixing taps and repairing windows, etc.

  • Information & Advice Advisor / Officer

    We have a permanent position available to support our Information & Advice team. Our small team of staff supported by excellent volunteers provide free and confidential Information & Advice to older people across the borough on a range of topics. The team also helps older people claim welfare benefits and other forms of financial support and provide information on accessing care, sorting out paperwork and housing, etc.

    As our Advisor / Officer you will help older people, their family and carers by providing welfare benefits support, information on a range of topics, work across service areas a needed, providing support via home visits, over the phone and in community settings.

    Access to a car is required.

  • Hospital Discharge Outreach Worker / Coordinator

    Part time - Fixed term until 31st March 2026

    Join a great team providing support to local older people when leaving hospital.

    We currently have an immediate excellent opportunity for a flexible and proactive individual with experience in a health or social care related field to join our Nightingale team. You will help organise and deliver tasks which facilitate a speedy hospital discharge / make the home safer to avoid readmission and avoid admission.

  • Welfare Benefits Advisor

    Permanent.

    Work as part of a team giving great support to local older people.

    Our Information & Advice service is a central part of our organisation. Our small team of staff, supported by excellent volunteers, provide free and confidential Information & Advice to older people across the borough on a range of topics.

    We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a good understanding of the welfare benefits syster for older people to join us as a Welfare Benefits Advisor.You will provide advice on financial support available, make applications, provide information via home visits, over the phone or at community locations.
