Walking Football

Tuesdays, 10am to 11am at St Mary's University Teddington

£5 per session to be paid on the day

Want to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy football at a gentler pace? 

We’re excited to introduce our new Tuesday Walking Football Club. Our first session will take place on 6 January and designed at a slower pace, to give less able players a comfortable and enjoyable way to take part. 

Enjoy light exercise, friendly games, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. No experience needed. 

The following footwear is permitted on the 3G football pitch:

- Screw-in football boots

- Moulded stud football boots

Your Turn with Turner

Tuesday 8th September, At Turner's House, TW1 2LR

An 8-session wellbeing art programme for Age UK Richmond, exploring J.M.W. Turner’s influence on modern and contemporary art. Through gentle discussion, looking at artworks, and accessible creative activities, participants will build their confidence in understanding art. Five sessions are led by the main facilitator and three by a guest artist, with a focus on enjoyment, self-expression, and social connection to support wellbeing.  

Max 10 participants

From 10am to 12pm

Free of charge but advance booking is essential

 

This course is offered by Age UK Richmond in partnership with Turner's House and is for people over the age of 55 living in the borough of Richmond.
