Big Walk 2017

June 1st marked the start of a month long celebration around Rotherham to promote volunteering and includes National Volunteer Week, which takes place from 1 to 7 June.
Age UK Rotherham volunteers joined others from local community and charity organisations on Tuesday 6 June to celebrate Rotherham's unsung heroes. Around 200 people took part in the Big Walk around Rotherham town centre, starting and ending at the Minster in All Saints Square.
The event highlights the thousands of volunteers in Rotherham who give their time so generously to help others.
