Sandwell MBC Consultation on Non Residential Care Contributions Policy

Sandwell Council are currently reviewing the charging model for community-based and respite adult social care services.
The Council is proposing a range of options for calculating how much people, including those who receive direct payments, should contribute towards the cost of their care and support to ensure that vital services continue to be funded effectively.
The pressure to fund adult social care is a growing national issue and the current model in Sandwell is no longer sustainable. The three options being consulted on will all bring us more in line with other local authorities.
