Day Time Activities

Age UK Stockport offers a wide range of social group activities in the Borough

 

Monday          Tai Chi Sessions 1.45pm – 2.45pm, Heaton Moor United Church, Stanley    Road, Heaton Moor.

Weekly Tai Chi Sessions.

Please ring to book on our waiting list.      

Dates: Every Monday.

 

Monday          Sound Minds Group, 1.30pm – 3.30pm, Whitehill Fire Station Community Room, Whitehill Street West, Stockport SK4 1NR

Support Group - for low mood, anxiety and depression.

Please ring to make a referral to come along via Paula Hudson at Age UK Stockport 0161 480 1211  

Dates: Every Monday 

                       

Tuesday         No Limits, Friendship Club, 1pm-3pm (weekly), Queens Court, Marple        SK6 6BS.

The club is held Tuesday afternoons and is a great place to enjoy a chat and a cuppa, and to get help and support. Come and take part in various activities in a warm, safe and friendly environment. So please come along, we look forward to seeing you there!

Wednesday    Sunrise Singing for fun, 2pm - 4pm, Sunrise of Bramhall, 1 Dairyground Road, Stockport SK7 2HW

This group is open to everybody regardless of if you feel you can sing or not, it is all about fun, meeting new friends and singing some of our favourite songs from various eras.

Friday             No Limits, Friendship Club, 1pm-3pm,

Upper Room, Massie St, Cheadle (fortnightly) SK8 1BP

Above the new Tesco Express on Wilmslow Road 

The Entrance is at the back of the building. No limits Friendship Club is an exciting partner-ship between St Mary's Church Cheadle and Age UK Stockport.

The club is held every other Friday afternoon for a chat, cuppa, help and support.

Dates:  13th  & 27th July, 10th  & 24th August, 7th & 21st September.

 

Please note no groups are open on Public Holidays
