Information and Signposting
Age UK Stockport offers a free and confidential information service for Stockport residents. The team provide support with information on general issues and local services, with a special focus on issues of relevance in later life. Enquiries are welcomed from older adults and their wider families, carers and also professionals.
Signposting
If your query requires advice or involves specilist information not within our team’s expertise, we will use our established network to signpost and connect you with the relevant local or national services who will be able to provide you with the help you require.

Our telephone hours are 09:00am – 17:00pm Monday – Friday 0161 477 1213
Information and Signposting drop-in sessions 10:00am – 14:00pm every Thursday at the Age UK Stockport Hub, 2 Castle Street, Edgeley, SK3 9AB.
Outside of our opening hours and at weekends the Age UK National Telephone Advice Line on 0800 055 6112 can be contacted which provides free, independent advice 365 days per year.
Every day the telephone lines are open from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. including bank holidays.
