About the role
Support Workers help older people to live independently, safely and happily at home by assisting them with a variety of practical tasks such as shopping, cleaning, cooking and running errands. Support Workers also provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments or take them on outings. There is no personal care involved.
We are looking for compassionate individuals who are comfortable working with older people and undertaking a range of practical and social tasks. Experience of working with older people or in a caring role is a bonus.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS, formally known as a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)) check is required as you would be working with vulnerable people.
