JOB DESCRIPTION
Post Title: Woodside Dementia and Wellbeing Hub Co-ordinator
Salary/Hours: £24,992.76, 37 hours per week. Monday-Friday
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Department and Service: Woodside Dementia and Wellbeing Hub
Responsible to: Operations/Services Manager
Purpose of the Post:
The purpose of the post is to provide administrative and organisational support for the Woodside Dementia and Wellbeing Hub programme of activities and/or external work streams. The post holder will act as a first point of contact for all internal and external enquiries about the Dementia Hub and the other agencies within it. The post holder will support the manager to monitor the progress of the hub, highlighting any gaps or areas for improvement whilst ensuring its smooth running throughout the week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To respond to enquiries about the Dementia and Wellbeing Hub from providers, stakeholders, people using the hub and carers etc
- To have regular contact and support people using the hub, offering signposting and providing information on hub activity as and when required and providing information as and when required.
- To co-ordinate the activity sessions and manage the timetables for the activity sessions
- Ensure robust and effective administrative processes are in place to facilitate the smooth running of the Dementia and Wellbeing Hub.
- To undertake administrative duties as required, including but not limited to filing, photocopying, sorting post etc
- To maintain the health and safety workbook and being aware of hub risk assessments and disseminating these where appropriate
- To ensure information/newsletters/bulletins are published and shared in a timely manner, in an appropriate format for a diverse audience using a range of media formats.
- To monitor and record performance figures and produce reports as required relating to the Dementia and Wellbeing Hub usage
- To arrange meetings and agendas for the Woodside Wellbeing and Dementia Hub stakeholders and record and distribute the minutes
- To establish network with outside agencies, partners and stakeholders and ensure that practice is good and in line with regional developments, implementing changes as necessary
- To monitor donations to the Dementia and Wellbeing Hub ensuring monies are accurately logged and monitored and reconciled.
- Support and assist with fundraising
- Be aware of the whereabouts of people using the hub
- Where needed, respond to anyone in distress and offer a caring and compassionate approach and refer/ signpost to the appropriate service
- Work collaboratively with agencies within the hub and promote the hub and the services it provides
