We currently have a range of volunteering roles available including:

  • Activity Volunteer - To assist with providing Activities in our Community Hub and at other venues across Thanet including evenings & weekends.
  • Shopping Volunteer / Driver - To assist an Age UK colleague or another volunteer to collect shopping for clients.
  • Volunteer Meal Delivery Driver - To deliver hot or cold meals to clients homes.
  • Telephone Buddy Volunteers to call an older person for a chat to reduce isolation and boost morale.

All volunteers are provided with basic training and are police (DBS) checked.  Travel expenses paid.
