Funding is available for projects whose activities take place primarily within one or more of the wards listed above and which benefit people aged 60 and over.
We particularly welcome applications for:
- One-off events and short-term projects
- Activities that include a food element as part of the projecy
- Projects that help reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing
- Community-based initiatives that encourage participation and connection
*For Quarter 4, we prioritise applications for small-scale environmental projects and community events that support older people during the winter months. Examples include:
- Warm Homes and Energy Saving Workshops providing practical advice on keeping homes warm, reducing energy bills, accessing grants and improving energy efficiency.
- Winter Wellbeing Events combining information on staying safe and healthy during colder weather with refreshments and opportunities for social connection.
- Community Repair and Upcycling Sessions where older residents can learn simple repair skills, mend household items or participate in creative recycling activities.
We strongly encourage organisations and community groups to apply and would love to hear from you.
