As a charity we are committed to the Safeguarding of vulnerable adults, both those who use our services and those who come to us for advice and support.

The organisation has adopted and is committed to the implementation of Blackburn with Darwen's Safeguarding Adults polcies and procedures.

Under the 2014 Care Act - safeguarding means to 'protect an adult's right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect'
