Afternoon Tea volunteer

Volunteer role description

Afternoon Tea is held at The Ageing Well Centre the last Thursday of each month.

The role will involve providing general help including setting tables, welcoming people as they arrive, serving drinks, clearing tables and general tidying up.

What you'll be doing

• Setting up tables for afternoon tea
• Welcoming people as they arrive
• Serving food and drinks
• Cleaning tables and tidying up afterwards

We're looking for someone who...

• Is enthusiastic and committed to the role
• Is sensitive to the needs of older people

A basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage but is not essential.

Time requirements

One day a week, 1pm – 4pm at The Ageing Well Centre.
