Memory Singers
Memory Singers is a welcoming community choir for people with memory challenges and their carers. It’s also open to anyone over 65 who would like to enjoy a joyful and uplifting singing experience.
Founded in 2012, the choir is jointly run by Age UK Bromley & Greenwich and U3A (University of the Third Age). Attendees are referred by the Bromley Dementia Hub or are members of U3A.
The choir’s repertoire is wonderfully diverse, featuring folk songs, music hall classics, WWII radio hits, show tunes, film songs, jazz, rock ’n’ roll, and more. Attendees’ musical preferences are always considered. Each week, music facilitators lead sessions with a fresh and varied selection to keep things engaging and fun.
Come along to sing, socialise, and enjoy yourself. No previous singing experience required!
