Age Friendly Bucks

Help us make Buckinghamshire a great place to age well!
What is Age Friendly Bucks?
Age Friendly Bucks has been established to bring together local organisations and residents to explore how Buckinghamshire can become an Age Friendly Community. An Age Friendly Community is a place that enables people to age well and live a good later life; where residents are able to stay living in their homes, participate in the activities they value, and contribute to their communities for as long as possible.
What does it involve?
We are engaging with local residents and communities to find out what is already working well, and what could be better for older adults in Buckinghamshire. We are using this information to provide a focus for improvement. Working closely with Buckinghamshire council, we are establishing Age Friendly projects which will meet the needs identified by the local community. Age Friendly Buckinghamshire is part of the UK network of Age Friendly communities. Find out more here
