Age UK Camden is working together with Camden Council to deliver the Camden Winter Wellness Service from October 2026 to March 2027.
The Camden Winter Wellness Service offers tailored support, information, and referrals to help older residents in Camden to stay warm, safe, well, and connected during winter. The service is available to eligible Camden tenants aged 65 and over. A dedicated Winter Wellness Advisor from Age UK Camden will contact eligible residents directly by telephone to offer support. Eligible residents will be contacted , there's no self-referral option.
The Winter Wellness Advisor can connect to services that can:
- Help keep their home warm and safe, give advice about money and housing, and keep bills low.
- Access health and wellbeing services and information, including where to get a flu vaccine or other seasonal vaccinations.
- Help to link with services that can obtain small grants or other financial support if they are struggling to afford the essentials.
- Help to connect to local groups and activities.
