Published on 15 September 2025 11:36 AM

We are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new Ear Care Clinic in Exeter, created through a partnership between our charity and Exeter Ear Experts. The clinic will be run by Jessie Mumford, a registered nurse specialising in safe, professional ear care, and will offer both water irrigation and micro-suction to help improve comfort and hearing.

The new service has been set up to give older members of the community, access to trusted, affordable ear care.

Elle Fletcher, Age UK, Independence at Home Manager, said:
“Good hearing is so important for wellbeing, confidence and staying connected. We know that many older people struggle to access affordable ear care locally, so we’re really pleased to be working with Jessie to make this service available in Exeter. It’s another way we can help people live independently for longer.”

Jessie Mumford, from Exeter Ear Experts, added:
“I’m delighted to be partnering with the charity to provide this new clinic. As a nurse, my focus is always on safe, effective care, and I look forward to helping people feel more comfortable and enjoy better hearing.”
