Ageing Well Volunteers

Age UK Doncaster hosts activities at the Silver Link Centre and Bawtry New Hall. Many of our clients are living with Dementia and our Ageing Well team offer people the chance to socialise in a supported and caring environment with a wide range of fun and stimulating activities to engage in.
What will you be doing to help?
- Helping with organised activities, encouraging and supporting individuals to participate
- Listening to and talking with individuals, helping to promote positive connections
- Encouraging social interaction, especially for those who are new or who find it harder to join in
- Assisting in the preparation and serving of drinks and snacks, and serving lunch
- Assisting with setting up and clearing away
- For those with some IT skills, there is also a chance to help out with our Over 50s IT sessions.
