Befriending Coordinator - Enabling Connections
Part time 21 hours per week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:30am – 16:30pm
Salary: £16,380 per annum
Age UK Ealing is looking to recruit a dedicated, compassionate and motivated Befriending Coordinator to support the delivery of our Enabling Connections programme.
The role will involve working directly with older people experiencing loneliness and social isolation across the London Borough of Ealing. You will manage referrals, undertake assessments and home visits, develop person-centred support plans, coordinate volunteer befriending matches and support individuals to build confidence, social connections and greater independence.
You will also work closely with volunteers, providing training, guidance and ongoing support, while monitoring outcomes and helping to ensure the programme meets its objectives and delivers positive impact for older people.
