Project JOY Launches at Age UK East Grinstead and District!

This week saw the heartwarming launch of Project JOY (Joining Older and Younger) at the Glen Vue Community Hub, a brand-new intergenerational initiative brought to life in partnership with Filippa and The Kindness Cooperation, the founder of the project.

In a joyful collaboration with local nursery All Kids, a lively group of 4-year-olds joined one of our dementia sessions for a morning full of laughter, games, and meaningful connection. Activities included balloon games, table tennis, singing, soft play, and of course — cake!

The smiles said it all. These sessions spark joy, boost wellbeing, and build beautiful bridges between generations.
