Enver Kannur

Enver is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) working for his company, Accounting Direct Plus Ltd and as a non-executive director to number of companies.

Enver has wide community experience, including as past president of Southgate Rotary Club, a member of the club for over 15 years.

He is treasurer and member of the board of TBCCI (Turkish and British Chamber of Commerce and Industry). He is currently head of 'Business Set Up & Management Forum’, and a member of UK Advisory Board as part of UK Trade & Investment.

He is also past chair of Enfield Turkish Cypriot Association (ETCA), and past honorary treasurer and member of the board of Enfield Racial Equality Council (EREC).

Enver was co-opted as a trustee of Age UK Enfield in August 2015. He was elected to a one-year term under the old constitution at the 2015 AGM, serving until the 2016 AGM. He was elected to his first three-year term under the new constitution at the 2016 AGM, to serve until the 2019 AGM. He has served as honorary treasurer since August 2015. He has now been nominated for a second term until the 2022 AGM.
