We are looking to recruit volunteers for our Welfare Benefits Service. To help assist clients age 60+ maximise their income through a variety of Government, and or Local Authority based Welfare Benefits.
You would be visiting clients in their homes, providing Benefit Advice, help complete relevant benefit application forms, signpost/refer to other agencies or services.
Full training will be given and expenses reimbursed. We would appreciate any time commitment. However, a regular commitment of 4 hours a week for a minimum of twelve months would be ideal.
