Due to these unprecedented times, we wanted to let you know that we have taken the difficult decision to close all of our charity shops to protect our staff, volunteers and supporters.

During this time, we will not be able to accept donations, so please do not leave donations outside as we will not be able to deal with them.

We realise that many supporters would like to take this opportunity to have a Spring Clean - but please do wait until our shops reopen to donate these items to us, when we will gratefully receive them.

We would like to thank you for your past support and for your continued support in the future, when we will really need your donations to help us help the people that need it most

Looking to bag a bargain, declutter your life, or volunteer your time?

You can do all three at our charity shops in Ruislip, Hayes and Harlesden.

About our charity shops

Giving to a charity makes your community a better place to live, by helping to provide products and services for people who might not otherwise have access to them. Our charity shops provide valuable income to help us deliver our core aims. Whether you donate goods, shop with us or volunteer your time, you are helping older people enjoy later life.

Age UK Hillingdon, Harrow and Brent has three shops which are great places to find clothing, books, DVDs, household goods, and even small electrical goods.

You can now find us on ebay.

Volunteering in our shops

Volunteering has many benefits, such as gaining new skills, providing a sense of purpose and is a great way to meet new people. You do not need experience as we will provide full training although getting on with other people is important. The role involves a variety of tasks including receiving, sortings, presenting and selling donated goods.

So if you have a few hours to spare each week and would like to help out in a friendly environment, maybe this is the role for you?
