In late July, at the South Asian Month Event, sponsored by Paul Farmer and hosted at Age UK London, Mahavash Irani proudly represented Age UK HHB as the sole partner speaker.

Mahavash’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Beginning in fruit fields, she turned her attention to empowering indigenous women by teaching them the art of sewing. Through her dedication, these women gained valuable skills, enabling them to earn a sustainable living and support their families. She even supplied blankets to Laura Ashley.
